Make Up by Anis
The Persalinan for Saad is inspired from the Baju Sikap Kedah, whilst the Tanjak is full of drama, fit for the King Of The Day. Jaja's persalinan is inspired from Kebaya Labuh Perak in full dark brown songket with off white raw silk trim, to make it more contemporary.
Thanks to the bride and bridegroom who were game in wearing my creation

Here are some pics taken from Wazi's camera of the wedding.
The concept of the ceremonial dais and the outfit is Contempo Malay, using elements of a Perak wedding (Mother of the bride's side) - mainly the Gunungan element of the pelamin (dais) and Javanese influences especially to the grooms outfit as well as the accesories of the bride (to compliment Ayu's father's heritage *note: Ayu's grandfather is 95 and still is in touch with relatives on Indonesian soil). The Contempo element is basically the English styling of the Gunungan and the floral arrangements. So basically, it's very much Malaysian.
